Job summary

Reeracoen Recruitment – Damansara, Selangor is seeking an ELV Technician/Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot ELV systems across data centres and commercial facilities. You will handle preventive maintenance, testing, configuration, and commissioning of CCTV, access control, and related systems.

You will coordinate with engineers and managers, support system upgrades, and ensure safety and compliance while providing timely responses to faults, including after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related professional certification.
• Minimum 2 years in ELV/related field with preventive maintenance experience.
• Capable of planning maintenance, scheduling, and execution with adequate staffing.
• Proven problem-solving ability and constructive solutions.
• Positive, proactive attitude; good teamwork and independence.

Responsibilities

• Understand and practise company core values.
• Report to Manager of Technical Service Department.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for ELV systems in data centres and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ELV system issues promptly.
• Respond to faults during non-office hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist Senior Technical Engineer and Managers in services across CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, EMS, Fire, PA, Intercom.
• Install, test, configure, and commission ELV systems including CCTV.
• Operate Access Control and Biometric Systems with BMS interfaces.
• Maintain environmental monitoring, structured cabling, and data centre infrastructure.
• Conduct health checks, preventive maintenance, and inspections for optimum performance.
• Test and troubleshoot ELV devices, controllers, sensors, and infrastructure.
• Support upgrades, expansions, migrations, and integrations.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors during maintenance and projects.
• Continuously learn ELV technologies and data centre monitoring solutions.
• Prepare maintenance, inspection, testing, and commissioning reports; ensure safety and standards.

• 9. Conduct system health checks, preventive maintenance, and periodic inspections to ensure optimum system performance.
• 10. Carry out testing and troubleshooting of ELV devices, controllers, sensors, and associated infrastructure.
• 11. Support system upgrades, expansions, migrations, and integration activities.
• 12. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors during maintenance and project activities.
• 13. Continuously learn and develop technical competency in ELV technologies, smart building systems, and data centre infrastructure monitoring solutions.
• 14. Prepare and maintain maintenance records, service reports, inspection reports, testing documentation, and commissioning reports.
• 15. Ensure all works are performed in accordance with safety requirements, technical standards, and company procedures.
• 16. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Technical Service Team Lead and Technical Service Manager.

• Requirement

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant professional certification.

  2. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.

  3. Experience involved in preventive, predictive maintenance planning, scheduling, execution, and manning.

  4. Able to contribute effective solutions to solve issues.

  5. Positive and aggressive working attitude, able to think critically, a good team player and able to work independently.
