Job summary

Reeracoen Recruitment in Malaysia is seeking an ELV technician to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ELV systems across CCTV, access control, intrusion, structured cabling, PA, intercom, and network infrastructure. Qualifications

• Experience with ELV system installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with BMS interfaces and fiber optic/ copper cabling is preferred.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and health checks on ELV infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve ELV system faults, including after hours when required.
• Assist Senior Technical Engineer and managers on ELV service tasks.
• Install, test, configure, and commission CCTV, access control, PA, intruder alarm, and related systems.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors during maintenance and projects.
• Maintain maintenance and commissioning reports with accurate documentation.
• Ensure works comply with safety standards and company procedures.

Job description

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ELV systems.5. Respond promptly to system faults and breakdowns, including during non-office hours, weekends, and public holidays.6. Assist the Senior Technical Engineer, Assistant Technical Service Manager, and Technical Service Manager in carrying out services related to:

• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Intrusion Alarm Systems
• Structured Cabling Systems
• Network Infrastructure Support
• Public Address (PA) Systems
• Intercom Systems7.

Perform installation, testing, configuration, and commissioning of ELV systems, including: CCTV Surveillance Systems8. Access Control and Biometric Systems

• Building Management System (BMS) interfaces
• Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber Optic)
• Public Address and Intercom Systems

Conduct system health checks, preventive maintenance, and periodic inspections to ensure optimum system performance.10. Carry out testing and troubleshooting of ELV devices, controllers, sensors, and associated infrastructure.11. Support system upgrades, expansions, migrations, and integration activities.12.

Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors during maintenance and project activities.13. Continuously learn and develop technical competency in ELV technologies, smart building systems, and data centre infrastructure monitoring solutions.14. Prepare and maintain maintenance records, service reports, inspection reports, testing documentation, and commissioning reports.15.

Ensure all works are performed in accordance with safety requirements, technical standards, and company procedures.16. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Technical Service Team Lead and Technical Service Manager.
