Job summary

Top Key Management Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Senior Air Conditioning & Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance tasks, air conditioning service, and electrical works.

You will monitor the condition of units, propose cost-effective maintenance solutions, and maintain records. This role reports to the Operation Manager and requires weekend availability and travel.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in English, Bahasa Cina and Bahasa Melayu.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
• Team player with initiative and responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills including Excel.
• Willing to travel between building locations.
• Continuously improve maintenance knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks including general repair works, air conditioning service, and electrical works
• Regularly monitor the condition of units and ensure they meet quality standards
• Identify and rectify potential maintenance issues with excellent troubleshooting skills
• Resolve maintenance issues promptly and effectively
• Propose maintenance solutions with estimated costing for approval, ensuring cost effectiveness
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedule
• Maintain records for all maintenance activities and ensure records are up to date
• Ensure proper handling of maintenance equipment and effective utilisation of maintenance resources
• Handle purchasing of maintenance items as needed, ensuring cost effectiveness
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are done safely and comply with building safety standards
• Work closely with operation, housekeeping and customer service team
• Reporting to Operation Manager
