Job summary

YTL Land Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated air-conditioning technician to operate and supervise the building's cooling systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance on AHU/FCU systems, supervise contractor works, and ensure compliance with contracts and Quality Management.

The role requires a diploma in a relevant field, good English and Bahasa Malaysia, and an independent work ethic.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Air-condition / Refrigeration Engineering or MLVK / SKM Level 2 in Refrigeration / Air-condition.
• Good report writing skills in English / Bahasa Malaysia.
• Fair communications skills.
• Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Word / Excel.
• Able to work independently, self-discipline, responsible and honest.

Responsibilities

• To operate and supervise the air-cond system for the building.
• To carry out preventive maintenance for the air-cond system such as the AHU, FCU split unit cooling towers, pumps and control system (as required).
• To supervise additional installation works carried out by contractors engaged by the Company or tenant (upon request).
• To supervise preventive maintenance carried out by contractors to ensure that work is carried out according to terms and conditions of contract and specifications.
• Attending to complaints from tenants relating to the air-cond system.
• To assist in implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System.
• To undertake any other related duties assigned by Superior
