Job summary

Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd is seeking a field-based professional to manage Construction Industry customers in Malaysia. You will visit clients, listen to their business goals, and advise on repair needs, PIPs, PSPs, SOS, and PL.

The role includes warranty support, lifecycle budgeting, and proactive service planning to grow revenue. The candidate should have a Marketing/Business/Economics degree, strong Excel/Pivot/BI skills, and CRM experience (Sales Link).

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or related discipline.
• Advance skills in Excel, Pivot, BI Dashboard.
• Proficiency in Microsoft AX is an added advantage.
• Good customer management and stakeholder management skill.
• Understanding of CRM system (i.e. Sales Link).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance relationship with Construction Industry customers.
• Visit customers face to face and build relationships with decision makers.
• Advise customers on repair needs, PIPs, PSPs, SOS, and Product Link.
• Help customers with warranty issues and proactive maintenance strategies.
• Consult on equipment, life cycles, maintenance, and replacement budgets.
• Conduct inspections and use Cat Inspect to track status.
• Promote Cat Product Support offerings like CVA, EMS, PCC onboarding.
• Analyze leads from PSEs and build call plans and sales goals.
• Coordinate with parts, service, and equipment management to support needs.
• Plan weekly pre-call planning to ensure effective sales coverage.
• Log visits, inspections, and opportunities in CRM and manage contacts.
