Job summary

Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd is seeking a results-driven professional to manage Construction Industry customer relationships in Malaysia. You will visit clients, advise on repair needs, warranties, and product programs, and lead proactive service initiatives.

You’ll analyze leads, plan pre-call strategies, and coordinate with parts and service teams to meet revenue targets. The role requires strong CRM usage, customer and stakeholder management, and proficiency with Excel/BI dashboards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or related discipline.
• Advanced Excel, Pivot, BI Dashboard skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft AX is an added advantage.
• Strong customer management and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Sales Link) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance relationships with Construction Industry (CI) customers assigned.
• Visit customers face to face and build relationships with decision makers, listening to their needs and business goals.
• Advise customers on immediate equipment repair needs, service letters, PIPs, PSPs, S.O.S., and Product Link (PL).
• Help customers with warranty issues and develop proactive before-failure repair strategies.
• Consult with customers about equipment, life cycles, maintenance, and replacement budgets and other solutions.
• Conduct equipment inspections and record status of machine aspects using Cat Inspect (CTS, TA1).
• Promote Cat Product Support Parts & Service offerings (CVA, EMS, PCC onboarding).
• Analyze leads from PSEs to build call plans and sales goals.
• Coordinate with parts, service, and equipment management to support customer needs.
• Plan and execute pre-call planning weekly for effective sales coverage.
• Use CRM to log visits, inspections, competitive visits, and opportunities; manage contact data and feedback.
• Generate quotes for parts, service, and equipment management solutions.
• Use key metrics (growth accounts, PAR call rates, growth opportunities, POPS targets, sales targets) to achieve revenue targets.
