Job summary

Thong Empire Sdn. Bhd. is looking for an accounting professional to join our finance team in Malaysia.

The role involves hands-on full-cycle accounting, including vouchers, journal entries, bank reconciliations and supporting month-end close. You will contribute to financial reporting and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, with 2–3 years of accounting experience, solid Excel skills, and knowledge of accounting software (SQL preferred).

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Familiar with accounting concepts and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SQL) preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple outlet accounts.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination with outlet staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vouchers, post journal entries, reconcile banks and drive month-end close.
• Join finance team and participate in full-cycle accounting.
• Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
• Perform other finance or administrative tasks as required by superior.
