SCIB Industrialised Building System Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented accounts professional to support monthly close, maintain ledgers, and prepare journal entries.

The role requires Diploma in Finance/Accounting, 2–4 years' experience, and fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; construction sector experience is a plus. You will work independently to meet deadlines and support audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Construction or property development experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Bahasa Malaysia and English required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in monthly closing and ensure accounts are closed within the required timeline.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger schedules and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments and other month-end adjustments.
• Monitor outstanding AP items and investigate long-outstanding or unusual balances.
• Assist in intercompany reconciliation and resolve discrepancies with related companies.
• Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
• Provide supporting documents/schedules for audit or tax queries.
• Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting requirements.
• Maintain and reconcile project-related costs and ensure expenses are correctly allocated to the respective project/cost centres.
• Ensure valid e-Invoices/invoices are obtained from vendors and comply with the Company's tax and documentation requirements.
• Maintain proper and systematic accounting records and supporting documents for audit and compliance purposes.
• Any other tasks as and when assigned by the Management.
