Job summary

QL Resources Group in Sabah, Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Supervisor to oversee the full set of accounts, ensure accurate financial records, and manage month-end closing and internal controls. The role involves monitoring cash flow, coordinating audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/ Degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of experience and can handle accounts independently while maintaining strong internal controls and financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Able to handle a full set of accounts independently.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the full set of accounts for a few small companies.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and working capital.
• Prepare and submit tax-related reports.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Review accounting transactions and supporting documents to maintain accuracy and strong internal controls.
