Job summary

QL Farms Sdn Bhd in Tawau, Sabah is seeking a Senior Executive / Executive (Accounts) to manage the full set of accounts, monthly closings, tax compliance, and audit coordination. The role requires accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls to support business decisions.

The candidate should hold a degree in accounting or a recognised qualification, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or a recognised professional qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, practices and financial reporting.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to handle a full set of accounts independently.
• A team player with strong analytical skills and good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts with timely reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial and management reports (P&L, Balance Sheets, cost analysis).
• Handle taxation matters, tax computations, and statutory submissions.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Process accounting records including journals, invoices, payroll entries and expenses.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory records and stock balances.
• Oversee AP and AR processes, including payments and collections.
• Ensure internal controls and accurate financial information for management.
