Job summary

Zohorecruit's client in Shah Alam, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to own the complete accounting cycle for a high-volume manufacturing operation. The role focuses on financial accuracy, month-end closures, and strict compliance with MFRS/IFRS and local tax rules.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, 3–5 years in manufacturing/PLC, and be proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, with strong Excel and ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA) are a plus.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in large-scale manufacturing or PLC.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Willingness to work onsite in Shah Alam.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete full set of accounts and month-end closure.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Verify invoices, vouchers, and claims for internal controls.
• Assist in budgeting and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS and local taxes.
