Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking a capable accounts professional in Malaysia to manage full-set accounting within a manufacturing-focused environment. You will handle GL, AP, AR and bank reconciliations to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, proficiency in ERP systems and Excel, and strong analytical skills. Mandarin/English fluency is needed; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus. Competitive monthly salary offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, manufacturing environment preferred.
• Hands-on experience in full-set accounting and month-end closing.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Good communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts: GL, AP, AR and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly reports, management accounts and financial statements.
• Perform month-end/year-end closing activities and related journal entries.
• Monitor cash flow, banking transactions and payment arrangements.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, payments and collections.
• Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors, tax agents and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documents for audits.
• Assist with tax submissions and financial compliance.
