Job summary

Hirehub is seeking a skilled Finance Accountant in Malaysia to manage full-set accounting for a manufacturing business. You will ensure accurate monthly closings, generate management reports, and support audit processes while maintaining compliance with local tax and accounting standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with GL, AP, AR, and month-end activities, along with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience; manufacturing background preferred.
• Hands-on experience in full-set accounting and month-end closing.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounts: GL, AP, AR and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries.
• Monitor cash flow and manage banking transactions.
• Coordinate annual audit activities and liaise with auditors.
• Identify improvements to procedures and internal controls.
