Job summary

ADI Resourcing in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance Accountant / Senior Executive to support month-end closing, reporting, budgeting and tax compliance. The role requires integrity, accuracy and the ability to work under tight deadlines to deliver reliable financial information.

You will maintain accounting schedules, review intercompany transactions, liaise with auditors and ensure records meet group policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing based on applicable accounting standards and Group policies.
• Prepare and maintain accounting supporting schedules and financial statements.
• Review project costing, cash flow, and intercompany transactions for accuracy.
• Assist in budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and 5-year projections with analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultant and company secretary for tax and statutory needs.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.

About the job Finance Accountant / Senior Executive

Responsibilities:

• Perform month end closing activities based on applicable accounting standard and Group accounting policies and procedures;
• Maintain all relevant accounting supporting schedules;
• Run/simulate month end closing revenue and cost of sales, review project-related costing for accuracy;
• Prepare and perform analytical review of the financial statements for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting;
• Prepare quarterly estimates, annual budget and 5 years projections and perform analytical review;
• Prepare transfer pricing documentations and corporate tax reporting pack;
• Monitor and plan the cash position of the companies and ensure sufficient operating cash flow;
• Ensure intercompany transactions/balances are in accordance to the Group policies and procedures;
• Liaise with and handling of queries/matters raised by internal and external auditors, tax consultant and company secretary for relating to tax, audit and other statutory requirements;
• Ensure completeness of documents maintained for company records; and
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Possess at least Degree in Accounting or its equivalent qualification;
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of working experience;
• Computer literate in MS Excel and Words;
• Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an added advantage;
• Able to multi-task and work independently;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
