Job summary

Pali Pali Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Account Executive to support Accounting, Finance, and Administration processes in a dynamic logistics environment. You will oversee daily operations, ensure timely financial reporting, and guide junior staff.

The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA/CPA preferred) and 3–4 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel and accounting-system proficiency. Competitive salary and bonus opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, etc. preferred).
• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Prior experience in full set of accounts and team supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and review work prepared by the team members.
• Monitor AR/AP, inventory valuation, and cost controls.
• Manage month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and analysis.
• Assist in cash flow management.
• Support implementation or improvement of accounting systems and SOPs.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary for statutory compliance.
• Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory submissions and company policies.
• Liaise with superiors to suggest improvements in the purchasing process, system, or workflow to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
