Usima Group in Kedah, Malaysia is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee the company’s accounting and finance functions. You will manage the full set of accounts, including AP/AR/GL, prepare monthly management accounts, and provide financial analysis for management review.

You will monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure timely statutory submissions such as tax and SST. You’ll liaise with auditors and authorities, supervise the accounting team, and drive

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the company’s overall accounting and finance functions.
• Manage and review full set of accounts, including AP, AR, General Ledger and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and financial analysis for management review.
• Monitor cash flow, company expenses, collections and payments.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow projections.
• Ensure timely submission and payment of statutory matters, including tax, SST and other applicable requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and government authorities.
• Review accounting records and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Lead, supervise and guide the accounting team in daily operations.
• Monitor month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist management in financial planning and decision-making by providing relevant financial information and analysis.
• Identify and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
