Job summary

Kato Business Services Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Accounting Executive to join our Client Services - Accounting team, focusing on servicing the Japanese business community in Malaysia. You will manage client accounts, bookkeeping, month-end closures, payroll, and liaise with auditors and tax agents to provide timely responses and supporting documents.

We value a Professional Certificate or degree in Finance/Accountancy or related fields, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and strong

• 3-5 years of relevant accounting, audit, or finance experience.
• Proficiency with accounting and payroll software systems.
• Strong written and spoken communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned client accounts including bookkeeping and month-end close.
• Review accounting, and process payroll for clients.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents; provide supporting documents.
• Assist in SST, e-Invoicing, and other business support tasks as needed.
• Take on ad-hoc assignments as required.

Senior Accounting Executive - Client Services

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our Client Services - Accounting team. Our primary client support is to the Japanese business community in Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Independently managing assigned client accounts, including bookkeeping, accounting review, month-end/year-end closing, payroll processing


• Day-to-day communications and provide general advisory to clients


• Coordinating with external auditors and tax agents, assisting clients in responding to audit/tax queries and providing supporting documents


• Opportunity to involve in preparing Sales & Service Tax (SST), e-Invoicing and other business support


• Ad-hoc assignments as assigned from time to time

About you

• Professional Certificate, Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Business Management or equivalent qualification


• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit or finance.


• Candidate with audit experience are welcome to apply.


• Knowledge and experience with accounting / payroll software system


• Flexible and able to travel for fieldworks within Klang Valley and outstation whenever required


• Good written, communication and interpersonal skills with clients


• Good time management and deadline driven
