We are an established professional accounting and audit firm looking for an Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive to join our Client Accounting team.
You will be responsible for managing the accounting and financial reporting requirements of a portfolio of clients, primarily within the property and management sector. This role provides hands‑on exposure to full‑set accounting, financial reporting, client liaison and statutory compliance.
Candidates will be considered for the Accounts Executive or Senior Accounts Executive position based on their experience and capabilities.
Handle full sets of accounts for assigned clients, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and monthly closing.
Prepare monthly management accounts, supporting schedules and financial statements in accordance with MPERS.
Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and maintained on a timely basis.
Liaise with clients, auditors and tax agents on accounting and reporting matters.
Monitor outstanding accounting matters and ensure statutory and reporting deadlines are met.
Maintain proper accounting documentation and supporting records.
Assist in improving accounting workflows, templates and systems.
For Senior Accounts Executive: review accounting work prepared by junior team members and provide guidance where required.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CAT or equivalent.
1–5 years of relevant accounting experience. Fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge may also be considered for junior positions.
Experience handling full sets of accounts will be an advantage.
Experience in an accounting firm, professional firm or managing multiple client portfolios will be an added advantage.
Proficient in SQL Accounting, AutoCount or similar accounting software.
Knowledge of MPERS, SST and basic Malaysian tax matters will be an advantage.
Good attention to detail and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to manage deadlines and multiple client accounts.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willing to travel to client premises within the Klang Valley when required.
