Job summary

Hirehub Group, based in Malaysia, seeks an experienced senior accountant to manage GL, close cycles, and financial reporting in Kuala Lumpur. The role demands 5+ years of progressive accounting experience and ERP proficiency.

Responsibilities include journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, tax support, and driving process improvements. Competitive monthly salary up to RM7,000 with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA is preferred but not required.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, GL accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines.

• Review processes to strengthen internal controls.
• Collaborate with other functions to resolve accounting issues.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri (9:00AM - 6:00PM)
