Job summary

Hirehub Management Sdn. Bhd., Kuala Lumpur, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage complex journal entries, month/year-end closes, and financial reporting. The role involves collaborating across departments and supporting systems enhancements to strengthen controls.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong Excel skills. CPA is preferred but not required. Salary is up to RM7,000 per month.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record complex journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze financial results and explain variances.
• Assist in tax reporting and statutory compliance.
• Review accounting processes to improve efficiency and internal controls.
• Partner with various functions to resolve accounting issues and support operations.
• Participate in system enhancements and finance transformation projects.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri (9:00AM - 6:00PM)
