Job summary

Michael Page International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Account Executive to oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment. The role requires directing month-end close, statutory and management reporting, and ensuring compliance with FRS/IFRS standards.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic financial analysis to support growth and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations.
• Direct month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely delivery of accurate, compliant, and high-quality financial reporting.
• Manage the preparation and review of statutory and management financial statements in accordance with applicable FRS/IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver strategic financial insights through comprehensive management reporting and analysis of business performance, profitability, revenue trends, margins, and inventory movements.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes, providing actionable recommendations to support business growth and decision-making.
• Oversee inventory valuation and costing methodologies, ensuring accuracy, financial integrity, and effective control over trading and perishable inventories.
• Manage financial accounting and reporting of trading operations, including import/export transactions, foreign currency exposures, and foreign exchange impacts.
• Serve as the key liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, regulatory authorities, and business stakeholders to ensure governance, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Ensure full compliance with all tax and statutory obligations, including GST, withholding tax, corporate income tax, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Champion continuous process improvement initiatives by strengthening internal controls, enhancing financial governance, and driving operational efficiencies across the finance function.
