Job summary

ATS CORPORATE SERVICES SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to handle external accounting jobs for clients across Singapore and Malaysia. You will maintain a complete set of accounts and contribute to financial management and periodic reporting.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, proficiency with QuickBooks, and the ability to read Chinese for processing invoices. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and you will work both independently and as part of a team to

• Ability to read Chinese preferred for processing invoices written in Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Handle external accounting jobs for clients from Singapore/Malaysia.
• Maintain complete set of accounts for clients.
• Support financial management and monthly/quarterly accounting tasks for clients.
• Prepare year-end accounts and submission of management reports.
• Prepare quarterly GST/SST schedules and submissions.
• Read Chinese if required to process invoices written in Chinese.
• Work independently with initiative and communicate status of accounting jobs.

Job description

To handle external accounting jobs from various Singapore/Malaysia companies

Responsible for maintaining complete set of accounts

Financial management and monthly/quarterly accounting jobs for clients

Timely preparation of clients’ year-end accounts and submission of management reports

Prepare quarterly GST/SST schedules and be responsible for quarterly GST/SST submission

Multi-task and work independently with initiative, whilst maintaining communication on the status of accounting jobs

Requirement

Strong accounting knowledge, practices, and software (QuickBooks).

Minimum 2 years experience, preferably in accounting or corporate secretary firm

Able to read Chinese preferred as role requires candidates able to process invoices written in Chinese

Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to handle deadlines with commitment

Hardworking and positive attitude, with the ability to work as a team or individually

Diploma or degree in Accountancy, ACCA or Business Studies
