Job summary

Rafflesia Education Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage daily accounting transactions, maintain the general ledger, and support financial reporting for its education services in Malaysia.

You will prepare journal entries, monitor receivables and payables, and assist in budgeting, audits and tax matters, reporting to the Finance Manager in a dynamic school group environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Familiarity with accounting principles, financial reporting and account reconciliation.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, maintain financial records and general ledger, and perform account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Monitor receivables and payables, follow up on overdue accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections and financial analysis.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Support internal and external audits, tax matters and compliance requirements.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
• Support the Finance Manager in financial projects, system improvements, digitalisation and process automation.

About you
