Job summary

MyRafee Design Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an accounting assistant to handle daily transactions and maintain precise financial records.

You will support month-end close, reconciliations, audits, and statutory reporting, while coordinating with departments to gather information. Fresh graduates are welcome; Excel proficiency and accuracy are essential for this role in a design consultancy.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1–2 years' experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to work with numbers accurately.
• Good communication skills and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions and maintain up-to-date records.
• Support full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closes.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare, organize, and file invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Assist audits by preparing schedules and compiling documentation.
• Support statutory reports and other finance-related documentation.
• Ensure records comply with company policies and procedures.
• Liaise with internal departments to gather finance information.
• Perform other finance, accounting, and admin duties as assigned.

Record daily accounting transactions accurately and maintain up-to-date financial records

Support the finance team in managing the full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing

Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations

Prepare, organise, and file accounting documents, invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting records

Assist in coordinating internal and external audits, including preparing audit schedules and compiling documentation

Support the preparation of statutory reports and finance-related documentation

Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and procedures

Liaise with internal departments to gather information for finance-related matters

Perform other finance, accounting, and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:
