Job summary

Argo Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Account Executive in Kuala Lumpur to manage full accounting cycles through audit closing, prepare regular financial reports, and oversee cash flow and bank reconciliations. You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, and authorities while supervising the finance team.

The role also involves improving systems and processes, supporting project accounting and cost monitoring, and handling payroll and finance-related administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Prefer degree or equivalent in accounting/finance field.
• Prefer four (4) years and above of accounting/finance experiences
• Proficient in accounting software (SQL / AutoCount / UBS / etc.)
• Willing to learn and fast learner
• Able to work under pressure within time constraints
• Able to do ad hoc works at all times
• Able to work in a team as a group
• Able to liaise with third parties (clients, contractors, suppliers, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Handle and maintain a full sets of Account until Audit closing.
• Prepare financial reporting (i.e: monthly, quarterly and yearly).
• Monitor & perform bank matters and cash flow management (i.e: Bank balance, bank reconciliation, Monitor operational expenses and cash utilization & etc).
• Preparation for Audit and submission of Taxation (i.e: liaise with auditor, tax agent, relevant authorities & etc).
• Team Coordination & Supervision (i.e: Supervise & guide finance team members within the department).
• System & Process Improvement (i.e: Maintain proper accounting records & accounting systems).
• Support Project & Cost Monitoring (i.e: Support project accounting, budgeting and cost monitoring for ongoing projects).
• Payroll & Finance Administration (i.e: Support finance-related administrative matters when required).
