Job summary

Argo Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an Account Executive to manage full accounting cycles up to audit closing, including payroll, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and payslips for staff.

You will prepare invoices, SOAs, reconciliations, journal entries, SST submissions, and liaise with banks, auditors, KWSP, LHDN, and suppliers. Fresh graduates with accounting background are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting is required.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience; fresh graduates with strong accounting background encouraged.
• Proficient in accounting software such as SQL, AutoCount, UBS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of accounts up to audit closing.
• Prepare staff salary, EPF, SOCSO, EIS and payslips.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, SOA and other accounting tasks.
• Liaise with banks, auditors and authorities (KWSP, LHDN, customs, etc.).
• Process monthly bills, monthly claims and daily accounting activities.
• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, postings, accruals and SST submissions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Liaise with site office staff on account matters (staff salaries, crew payroll, etc.).

Job description

Account Executive’s Scope Of Works

• To prepare full sets of Account until Audit closing
• To prepare staff Salary, EPF, SOCSO, EIS & Payslip
• To prepare Invoice, Payment Voucher, Statement of Account (SOA) and others account related matters.
• To liaise with banks, auditor and any other relevant authorities (i.e: KWSP, LHDN, Custom and etc).
• To process monthly bills, monthly claims, and daily accounting activities.
• To prepare all relevant reconciliations, journal entries, posting, accrual, SST submission and etc
• To perform any other duties as and when assign by The Management.
• To liaise with site office staff (Ship Management Team) on the Account matters (i.e: to check and pay staff salary, ship crew salary, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, claims, allowances & etc)

Requirements

• Prefer who has Diploma/Degree or equivalent in accounting field.
• Prefer who has one (1) / two (2) years of accounting experience in procurement is preferred (Fresh Graduate with strong Accounting background is encourage to apply).
• Proficient in accounting software (SQL / AutoCount / UBS / etc.)
• Willing to learn and fast learner.
• Able to work under pressure within time constrain
• Able to do ad hoc works at all time.
• Able to work in a team as group.
• Able to liaise with third parties (i.e: clients, contractors, suppliers, Site Office Staff, debtors & etc).
