Job summary

Dominant Opto Technologies Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a senior production leader to plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing operations. You will oversee scheduling, monitor processes, and drive efficiency while ensuring quality and cost budgets.

This role requires a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, a decade of semiconductor experience, and strong knowledge of ISO management systems. You will lead a production team, collaborate with engineering, and maintain delivery

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• >10 years related work experience in semiconductor.
• Knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001).
• Good in statistical techniques.
• Strong communication skills (verbal or written).
• Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Draw up a production schedule, monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Provide necessary support to engineering as needed.
• Fulfill output targets, quality targets and maintenance cost budgets.
• Drive new process applications and execution of processes.
• Coordinate activities related to all production processes.
• Strengthen and enhance procedures processes.
• Supervise and motivate all production team.
• Communicate with Production Planning Department on delivery issues.
