Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician in Selangor to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Access Control and CCTV platforms. You will diagnose issues, implement improvements, and provide technical guidance to customers and field staff.

The role covers system health checks, troubleshooting, and assisting with upgrades and integrations, ensuring documentation is meticulous and aligned with contractual SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3‑5 years hands‑on experience in Security Systems service and maintenance.
• Strong experience supporting Access Control and CCTV systems including VMS.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities per contract and manufacturer recommendations.
• Conduct system health checks and performance assessments, review findings and propose improvements.
• Lead corrective maintenance: diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, firmware, database, and network issues.
• Provide technical support and system administration for Access Control and CCTV systems; manage user accounts and backups.
• Support system expansion, migration, upgrades, testing and commissioning; document changes and hand over to customers.
• Prepare and submit service reports, RCA reports, and upgrade proposals; maintain accurate asset records.
