Job summary

Sleeping Lion Genting Highland is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations on-site at Genting Highlands. You will lead and schedule security personnel, conduct briefings, and ensure adherence to safety procedures to maintain vigilance and service.

The role includes monitoring premises, coordinating patrols, managing access control, and handling incidents, with close collaboration with front-of-house and operations teams to ensure a secure guest experience.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory experience with leading teams and managing shifts.
• Solid physical security knowledge: access control, surveillance, incident response, emergency procedures.
• Effective written and verbal communication with guests, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Customer service focus to maintain a positive visitor experience.
• Experience coordinating security activities, maintaining logs and reports, and ensuring policy compliance.
• Experience in security, hospitality, or facilities management preferred.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and basic first aid is a plus.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and holidays; stay composed under pressure.

The Security Supervisor leads and schedules security personnel, conducts briefings, and provides guidance and performance feedback to maintain a high level of vigilance and service. The role involves responding to incidents and emergencies, documenting reports, liaising with management and external authorities when necessary, and supporting guest and staff safety. The Security Supervisor also works closely with front-of-house and operations teams to manage crowd control, handle guest inquiries related to security, and promote a secure and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills with experience leading teams, assigning duties, and overseeing shift operations.
• Solid physical security knowledge, including access control, surveillance monitoring, incident response, and emergency procedures.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Customer service abilities to handle guest concerns calmly, provide clear information, and support a positive visitor experience.
• Operations management skills to coordinate security activities, maintain logs and reports, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
