About the role

We are seeking an experienced Security Site Supervisor to join the team at Konsultan Khidmat Setia Security Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Damansara. As Security Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing security operations at our assigned site, ensuring the safety and protection of personnel, assets, and premises. This role is pivotal in maintaining a secure environment and upholding the highest standards of security service delivery. You will lead a team of security personnel and report directly to senior management, playing a key role in implementing and maintaining comprehensive security protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily security operations at the designated site, ensuring all security personnel adhere to company policies and procedures
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the premises to identify and address potential security risks or vulnerabilities
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security equipment to ensure proper functioning and immediate response to alerts
• Maintain detailed security logs and incident reports, documenting any security breaches, suspicious activities, or unusual occurrences
• Coordinate access control, including managing visitor registration, issuing passes, and controlling entry and exit points
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, implementing appropriate action plans and liaising with emergency services when necessary
• Conduct security briefings and training sessions with security team members to ensure awareness of current threats and proper response procedures
• Prepare and present security reports to management, highlighting areas of concern and recommending improvements
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations, legal requirements, and industry best practices
• Manage security equipment inventory and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed
• Conduct investigations into security incidents and work with relevant authorities to resolve issues
• Foster a professional and safety-conscious culture amongst the security team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• Strong knowledge of security systems, CCTV technology, alarm systems, and access control systems
• Excellent understanding of security protocols, emergency procedures, and risk assessment methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate security personnel effectively
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare clear and concise incident reports
• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations
• Physical fitness and ability to perform regular patrols and inspections
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Relevant security certifications or qualifications (such as SIA qualifications or equivalent) are highly desirable
• Experience working in a site-based security environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts and on-call availability
• Proficiency in using security management software and basic computer skills
