Job summary

TF AMD Microelectronics (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Security Specialist to lead guard management, audits and incident investigations at the Penang site.

You will develop training, coordinate with police, and support crisis and emergency response initiatives. The role emphasizes CCTV, card access deployment and compliance with security standards in a high‑tempo electronics manufacturing environment. A Bachelor's degree in law/public or equivalent is required, with 3–5 years in security

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above, major in law, or public or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ work experience, including 0–3 years’ expertise in a high paced environment at security supervisory position.
• Security operations and supervision experience.
• Internal incident handling and preliminary investigation experience.
• Knowledge of transportation security (FSR/ TSR).
• Experience with security system deployment and management (CCTV, card access).
• Basic EHS knowledge.
• Project management knowledge and application.

Responsibilities

• Establish and improve guard management processes (hiring/training/certify/coach/performance assessment).
• Draft/update security specifications/processes/WI and disseminate to concerned people.
• Monitor security audits on priority products and vendor compliance to TF AMD security requirements.
• Identify and address security risks relating to product/asset security and drive improvements.
• Interface with line supervisors, employees, visitors and contractors to prevent issues and conflicts.
• Develop security training courses and knowledge sharing for employees/vendors.
• Handle security incidents and thorough investigations, document records and report accordingly.
• Maintain rapport with local police authority and crisis management teams.
• Assist in disaster recovery programs or any emergency response.
• Perform other tasks/projects assigned by site management and corporate security.

Establish and improve guard management process (hiring/training/certify/coach/performance assessment) to lead the proprietary security force be successful.

Draft and/or update security Spec. /Process/WI and disseminate the information to all concerned people.

Monitor and conduct security audits on priority products(reject/finish goods), plant security programs and vendor’s compliance to TF AMD security requirements

Identify and address proactively any security issues/risks relating to the product/asset security process, quality system and conduct the project to make improvement accordingly.

Interface with line supervisors, employees, visitors and contractors to prevent and resolve security issues/conflicts before they are escalated.

Develop security training course and knowledge sharing to employees/vendors.

Handle security incident/thorough investigation on any missing/loss case, document the record and report accordingly.

Maintaining rapport with local police authority, communicating with each other where common interests exist.

Assist in crisis management and other disaster recovery program or any emergency response.

Other task/project assigned by site management and corporate security.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor Degree or above, major in law, or public or equivalent

Experience:3~5 years’ work experience including 0~3 years’ expertise experience in a high paced environment at security supervisory position

Skillful in security operations and supervision.

Skillful in internal incident handling and preliminary investigation.

Knowledge and experience of transportation security, e.g. FSR(Freight Security Requirement), TSR (Truck Security Requirement), etc.

Knowledge and experience in the security system deployment and management (CCTV, card access, etc.)
