Job summary

TF AMD Microelectronics (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Diploma holder to support engineering activities at our Penang facility in Malaysia.

You will set up equipment, analyze data, participate in Lean Six Sigma driven KPI improvements, and help ensure product quality and output goals are met. Responsibilities include monitoring processes, performing root cause troubleshooting, and collaborating with production to minimize downtime while maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering / Mechatronic Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in relevant fields (Fresh graduates welcome).
• Familiar with equipment operation and basic maintenance of production equipment.
• Experience in Single Reflow / Die Attach / Die Preparation Process / NPI Process Engineering preferred.
• Equipment or process programming knowledge background.
• Basic communication skills and good learning and feedback ability.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Hand on setup the equipment and process during engineering activities.
• Evaluation report compilation and initial data analysis.
• Support Yield & Quality KPI improvement through Lean Six Sigma approach.
• Monitoring on hold lot disposition and provide communication with engineer to not impact daily assembly output.
• Maintain housekeeping / 5S engineering station and tooling’s to ensure safety compliance.
• Monitor all processes, resolve product issues and coordinate with production and equipment to reduce downtime and improve quality.
• Minor equipment programming and setup for manufacturing to ensure product specifications are met.
• Attend product quality issues and assist MS support lot disposition; carry out prelim report findings.
• Able to perform incident root cause troubleshooting, analysis.
• Other duties assigned by superior.

Job description

Job Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering / Mechatronic Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

At least 1-2 years of experience in relevant fields. (Open for Fresh Graduate too)

Familiar with equipment operation and know basic maintenance of production equipment/machine.

Experience in Single Reflow/ Die Attach / Die Preparation Process / NPI Process Engineering will be an added value.

Have equipment or process programming knowledge background.

Basic communication skills and good learning and feedback ability.

Perform other duties as required and assigned by the supervisor.
