Job summary

TF AMD Microelectronics (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Technical Training Instructor to train and certify operators, conduct cross-training, and maintain training records.

You will prepare training materials and ensure operators meet certification standards, including Mandarin communication with clients. The role requires 1–2 years of technical training experience, a Diploma, English/Malay/Mandarin proficiency, and a 12-hour rotating shift in a consumer electronics manufacturing environment with

• Diploma in any relevant courses.
• 1–2 years of trainer (technical) experience preferred.
• Able to work in 12hrs rotation shift.

Responsibilities

• Train and certify new hire operators and cross-train as needed.
• Recertify operators when due and ensure score ≥ 90% for certified processes.
• Prepare training materials and visual aids; update LMS with operator training status.
• Provide Work Instruction training and generate training records.
• Conduct inspections and capability studies for VM operators due for recertification.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Technical Training Instructor (Production Trainer)

Trained and certified new hires operators / cross training / add on training when requested by Production Operation.

Recertified operator when due for recertification.

Attend yearly recertification conducted by Engineers and must score at least 90% for all certified processes.

Prepare training material or visual aid when required.

Provide Inspection Capability Study assessment for VM operators due for recertification.

Provide Work Instruction training for Operator when required.

Preparation of training document such as Employee training record and updating operators training status into Learning Management System.

Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Have Manufacturing Background

Job Requirements:

Education – DIPLOMA in any relevant courses.

Language - English or Malay or Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Experience - 1 to 2 years of Trainer (Technical) experience preferred

Able to work in 12hrs rotation shift.
