Aquaria KLCC is seeking a Security Officer to implement and enforce security guidelines, supervise daily security functions and drive safety programs. You will ensure fire safety compliance and maintain critical records while coordinating training and SOPs with the KL Convention Center.

The role requires a minimum of 1–2 years in security and safety, strong communication, and the ability to interact professionally with the public and staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school or diploma or equivalent is minimum educational requirement.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in security and safety is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are important for documenting incidents and communicating with colleagues and the public.
• Ability to interact with the public, employees, and handle conflict or crisis situations professionally.
• Understanding of local, state, and federal laws related to security and safety is essential.
• Security personnel may need to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Implement and enforce security guidelines and supervise daily security functions.
• Drive effective security/safety programs to minimize security/safety risks and achieve zero-theft/zero-injury culture.
• Ensure the aquarium complies with fire safety requirements as per fire safety code.
• Document security/safety reviews and make recommendations with follow-up on issues.
• Generate, maintain and enhance SOPs; synchronize changes with KL Convention Center SOPs.
• Conduct regular training & briefings for all staff on Security, Emergency & Evacuation procedures.
• Maintain records of all security and fire safety matters.
• Manage, operate, repair and maintain CCTV systems.
