Job summary

The role involves monitoring premises and surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, responding to security incidents and emergencies, enforcing safety procedures, and supporting protection of people, property, and assets, including investigations and access control.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizens or permanent residents only due to work permit restrictions.
• Diploma or certificate in Safety and Security preferred.
• Experience as a Security Officer in luxury hotels is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.

Summary

You will be responsible for providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent and consistent service. The Security Officer plays a key role in the efficient operation of the Security Department by monitoring premises and surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, responding promptly to security incidents and emergencies, enforcing safety procedures, and supporting the protection of people, property, and assets. This role also involves assisting with investigations, access control, and other security-related duties to ensure a secure and positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open to Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
• Ideally with a diploma or certificate in Safety and Security.
• Work experience as a Security Officer within luxury hotels is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures, emergency response and equipment.
• Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills as well as attention to detail and observational abilities are essential.
