Job summary

Sunwaypyramid is seeking a security assistant to support the security officer in supervising guards on duty and ensuring smooth shift operations across the mall and car park.

You will patrol, brief, and train guards, conduct roll calls and uniform checks, and report incidents promptly. The role requires SPM with BM/Sejarah credits, 1 year experience, and fluency in English and BM.

Qualifications

• SPM with at least credit in BM & Sejarah.
• At least 1 year working experience.
• Able to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Physically fit, BMI 19–25, min height 163 cm, min weight 50 kg.
• Must be able to work in Iskandar Puteri Johor.
• Able to perform over-time work.

Responsibilities

• Assist security officer in supervising the shift.
• Check guards at posts and brief/train them.
• Assist in roll call and uniform checks.
• Assist in providing security equipment for guards on duty.
• Ensure smooth shift operations.
• Maintain productivity and discipline among guards.
• Patrol mall and car park, take security measures for safety.
• Prevent theft, damage, accidents and incidents.
• Patrol checkpoints and security visit books as per daily roster.
• Report theft/damage/accident/incident to officer on duty for next action.

To assist the security officer in supervising the shift of security guards on duty.

To check on guards at their respective posts and ensure that the guards are briefed and trained on their duties and responsibilities.

To assist the security officer in conducting roll call and uniform checks.

To assist in the provision of security equipments for guards on duty.

To ensure the smooth operations of the shift.

To maintain a standard productivity and discipline level among the guards.

To patrol the common area in the mall and car park and take the appropriate security measures in ensuring the complex / tenant / customer safety.

To prevent theft / damage / accident / incident from happening in the complex

To patrol and visit all designated checkpoints and security visit books as in the daily roster

To report all theft / damage / accident / incident to the officer on duty for next appropriate line of action.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

SPM with at least credit in BM & Sejarah

at least 1 year working experience

Able to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Physically fit, BMI 19 to 25, minimum height 163cm, minimum weight 50kg

Must be able to work in Iskandar Puteri Johor

Able to perform over-time work
