Job summary

Sunway Retail in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking a vigilant security officer to safeguard mall and car park areas. You will patrol designated checkpoints, monitor activities, and report incidents to on-duty officers promptly.

The role requires a minimum SPM, strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and the ability to work in shifts. Experience in security operations is advantageous, and you must be physically fit and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Report any suspicious activity or incidents to the officer on duty for action.
• Prevent criminal activity, damage, accidents, and vandalism in mall and surroundings.
• Patrol common areas in the mall and car park and enforce safety measures.
• Patrol designated checkpoints and security visit books as per daily roster.
• Work in shifts as required.

iv)Topatrol the common area in the mall and car park and take the appropriatesecurity measures in ensuring the complex / tenant / customer safety.

v)Topatrol and visit all designated checkpoints and security visit books as in thedaily roster.

Requirements

• i)Minimum SPM qualification orequivalent.
• ii)Competent in writing andcommunicating in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Competence in vernacularlanguages such as Chinese and Tamil would be an added advantage.
• iii)Prior experience in securityoperations would be an added advantage.
• iv)Prompt, physically fit, and hascapacity to work in shifts.
• v) Demonstrates ability to work in a team.
