Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a security guard to patrol premises, monitor access points, and respond to incidents in Malaysia. You will safeguard employees and property while maintaining orderly access and reporting daily activities.

This role emphasizes vigilance, integrity, and clear communication with the team and authorities when needed. Responsibilities include incident reporting, enforcing policies, directing traffic, and cooperating with law enforcement during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and others to guard against theft.
• Obtains help by sounding alarms.
• Prevents losses and damages by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Controls traffic by directing drivers.
• Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Calls police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of danger.
• Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Other tasks assigned by the superior.
