Job summary

Eonmetall Group Berhad in Penang, George Town, is seeking a vigilant security guard. You will patrol premises, monitor access points, and authorize entry to protect people and property. You will respond to emergencies, report irregularities, deter theft, and assist with traffic control according to policy.

Candidates should be dependable, observant, and able to write clear daily activity reports. The role requires on-site presence and adherence to safety and legal requirements; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Obtains help by sounding alarms.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Controls traffic by directing drivers.
• Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Calls police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Other task assigned by the superior.
