Sunway Malls is seeking a security guard to assist the security officer in supervising guards on duty and patrols within the mall and car park. You will check posts, brief guards, and ensure safety for complex, tenants and customers, reporting incidents as needed.

Requirements include SPM with credit in BM & Sejarah, English and Bahasa Malaysia literacy, and physical fitness (BMI 19–25, height ≥163 cm, weight ≥50 kg). Iskandar Puteri, Johor location with potential OT.

Qualificações

• SPM with credit in BM & Sejarah.
• At least 1 year working experience.
• Able to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Physically fit: BMI 19–25, height minimum 163 cm, weight minimum 50 kg.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the security officer in supervising the shift of security guards on duty.
• Check on guards at their posts and ensure briefing and training on duties.
• Conduct roll call and uniform checks.
• Provide security equipment for guards on duty.
• Maintain productivity and discipline among guards.
• Patrol mall areas and carpark to ensure safety of complex, tenants and customers.
• Prevent theft, damage, accidents, incidents.
• Visit checkpoints and security visit books as per daily roster.
• Report theft, damage, accidents, incidents to officer on duty for next steps.

To assist the security officer in supervising the shift of security guards on duty, checking on guards at their respective posts, and ensuring smooth operations of the shift.

Key responsibilities:

Assist the security officer in supervising the shift of security guards on duty

Check on guards at their respective posts and ensure that the guards are briefed and trained on their duties and responsibilities

Assist the security officer in conducting roll call and uniform checks

Assist in the provision of security equipments for guards on duty

Maintain a standard productivity and discipline level among the guards

Patrol the common area in the mall and car park and take the appropriate security measures in ensuring the complex / tenant / customer safety

Prevent theft / damage / accident / incident from happening in the complex

Patrol and visit all designated checkpoints and security visit books as in the daily roster

Report all theft / damage / accident / incident to the officer on duty for next appropriate line of action

Job Requirement:

SPM with at least credit in BM & Sejarah

At least 1 year working experience

Able to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Physically fit, BMI 19 to 25, minimum height 163cm, minimum weight 50kg

Must be able to work in Iskandar Puteri Johor

Able to perform over-time work

Will station at either Sunway Big Box Iskandar Puteri/Sunway Puteri Hills/Sunway RTS
