Job summary

ARTAC CONSULTING SDN. BHD. is seeking a Security Guard to protect company properties and assets, including the Director's residence.

The role involves controlling access, monitoring surveillance, and responding to emergencies at our Melaka/Kuala Lumpur sites. The ideal candidate is a Malaysian citizen aged 25–55 with a basic qualification (SPM or equivalent) and a disciplined, alert demeanor. Security experience is an advantage; RELA familiarity is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen.
• Age between 25 and 55 years.
• SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Previous security experience is an advantage.
• Physically fit and medically able.
• Clean criminal record; no drug abuse.
• Military/police retirees encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work 6 days per week (1 rest day).
• RELA experience encouraged.
• Willing to work overtime; neat appearance.

Responsibilities

• Protect company properties/assets and Director's residence.
• Control access and monitor surveillance systems.
• Respond to emergencies/incidents and assist evacuation.
• Record daily activities in security logbook and reports.
• Prepare incident reports for management.
• Ensure staff/visitor compliance with security rules.

Job description

The scope of work for a security guard covers protecting company properties / assets, protecting of Director's residence, controlling access, monitoring surveillance and responding to emergencies / incident case.

Key Responsibilities :-

The overall duty of a Security Guard is to protect a company’s property / assets, employees and visitors.

Verify and record the details of visitors, contractors and vehicles entering the office premises.

Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure as office building, parking areas, corridors and entry / exit points to detect any unauthorized or damage.

Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management

Respond immediately to emergencies such as fires, system failures or accident case.

Assist in the evacuation of staff and visitors during an emergency.

Log daily activities, vehicle movements, and any unusual incidents in the occurrence book (security logbook)

Inform and prepare report of any incident case for office management.

Ensure that all staff and visitors adhere to security protocols and internal office regulations.

Requirements / Qualifications :

Must be a Malaysian citizen

Aged between 25 and 55 years old

Minimum qualification of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent

Previous security experience will be an advantage

Responsible, disciplined and alert while on duty

Physically fit and able to pass a medical examination

Must have a clean record from criminal case and drug abuse

Military/police retirees are highly encouraged to apply

6 days of working days (1 day offday / restday)

Those with experience working as RELA members are encouraged to apply

Must be able to work overtime

Neat and attractive appearance
