Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Security Officer to safeguard people, facilities and cargo at our Bayan Lepas site. You will work closely with warehouse management, operations teams and contracted security personnel to ensure secure operations.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Security Management or related field, with experience in warehouse security and the ability to respond effectively to incidents.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related discipline.
• Experience in warehouse security, logistics operations, security management preferred.
• Experience coordinating contracted security personnel an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily security operations within the warehouse and premises.

Take charge of warehouse security operations and help safeguard our people, facilities, and customers' cargo. This is a hands‑on role working closely with warehouse management, operations teams, and contracted security personnel.

Key responsibilities

Manage daily security operations within the warehouse and company premises

Conduct regular security checks, spot checks and audits to ensure compliance with company procedures

Monitor and maintain security standards covering warehouse facilities, customer cargo and company assets

Oversee and coordinate the contracted security service provider

Provide security and safety briefings to new employees and warehouse personnel

Promote security awareness, discipline and compliance among employees, particularly operational and driving staff

Monitor security equipment and facilities to ensure they are functioning properly

Conduct daily checks on warehouse areas, damages, cleanliness and security conditions

Investigate security incidents, prepare Incident Reports and support corrective actions

Maintain security asset records and conduct periodic asset audits

About you

Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related discipline

Experience in warehouse security, logistics operations, security management or a similar capacity is preferred

Experience managing or coordinating contracted security personnel will be an advantage

Strong discipline, integrity and sense of responsibility

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Good observation and problem‑solving skills

Able to conduct security checks and work in a warehouse operational environment

Able to work independently and respond effectively to security incidents
