Job summary

Rapid Manufacturing Connectivity in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia, is seeking a Security Executive / Supervisor to protect personnel, assets, facilities, and supply chain operations. You will manage access control, CCTV systems, and security programs, while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective risk management.

The role requires 3–5 years in security, experience supervising guards and contractors, and familiarity with CCTV, intrusion detection, and visitor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security operations, asset protection, loss prevention, or corporate security
• Experience managing contract security personnel and service providers
• Knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion, visitor management)
• Experience conducting security investigations, incident management, and root cause analysis
• Familiarity with security standards like TAPA, CTPAT, ISO 28000 or similar
• Experience liaising with law enforcement and authorities
• Strong risk assessment, emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity planning
• CPP/PSP/CSMP or equivalent certification is an added advantage

Excellent opportunity for a dynamic person to join a cable manufacturing company as a Security Executive / Supervisor in Kulim, Malaysia. This position mainly focuses to ensure the protection of company personnel, assets, facilities, and supply chain operations by managing security risks, access control, compliance requirements, investigations, and security programs in accordance with corporate standards and applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily security operations to ensure the safety and protection of company personnel, assets, facilities, and information.
• Supervise security guards and service providers to ensure compliance with company security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate security incidents, accidents, thefts, breaches, and other security-related matters, and prepare detailed investigation reports.
• Monitor and manage access control systems, CCTV surveillance systems, alarm systems, and other security technologies.
• Liaise with government authorities, law enforcement agencies, local councils, and relevant stakeholders on security-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian laws, regulations, and company standards related to security, safety, and asset protection.
• Conduct security awareness training and briefings for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Manage security vendor performance, and contract obligations to ensure effective and cost-efficient security services.
• Prepare and maintain security documentation, records, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security operations, asset protection, loss prevention, or corporate security, preferably in a manufacturing, semiconductor, logistics, or industrial environment.
• Experience managing contract security personnel and security service providers.
• Knowledge of physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and visitor management systems.
• Experience conducting security investigations, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with security standards and programs such as TAPA, CTPAT, ISO 28000, or similar supply chain security requirements.
• Experience liaising with law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment, emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity planning.
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP), or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
