Job summary

Rapid Manufacturing Connectivity in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the Program Management team, manage customer accounts, drive customer satisfaction, and coordinate with Operations, Production, Accounting, Purchasing and Shipping to ensure outstanding service.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of sales experience, proven account management for medium to large customers (OEMs/CMs), strong leadership, a BA/BS, and excellent communication and cross-functional

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing medium and large customer accounts, preferably OEMs or Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
• Leadership experience in sales administration, account management, customer service, or customer care environments.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience in order management and customer account management.
• Experience managing and developing team members.
• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent qualification.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong customer relationship management and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Develop, maintain, and grow strategic customer relationships.
• Maintain regular communication with assigned customers through daily and weekly interactions.
• Build and maintain key relationships with strategic customers and perform other duties of a similar nature as assigned.
• Coordinate activities with Operations, Production, Accounting, Purchasing, and Shipping departments to maintain a high level of customer service when necessary.
• Escalate customer and operational issues promptly and appropriately.
• Organize and prioritize activities to meet daily customer requirements and ensure follow-up on commitments.
• Manage interfaces between customer engineering/management teams and internal teams during new product introduction activities.
• Resolve customer concerns related to RFQs, quality, delivery, and service issues.
