Job summary

Inari Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior manufacturing leader in Penang to drive technical manufacturing excellence, process control, quality management and engineering performance. You will coach multi-disciplinary teams, set aggressive targets, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues promptly.

The role requires 10+ years in semiconductors with at least 5 years in management, strong strategic planning, and a track record of continuous improvement and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field.
• 10+ years in the semiconductor industry with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams across engineering, production, and quality control.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, supply chain, and operational efficiency.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, budget management, cost reduction, and performance improvement.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and EHS.
• Ability to lead large-scale projects and drive business objectives.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach and manage process team to ensure technical know-how and latest technologies through updates from customers and training channels.
• Set clear targets for engineering team and regularly review to ensure targets are met.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and departments to solve quality issues with short- and long-term solutions.
• Attend customer meetings and promptly resolve issues with customers.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality, capacity, productivity and yield improvements.
• Set expectations and manage performance to achieve targets.
• Establish procedures, documentation and communication channels for improvement plans with internal/external customers and quality.
