Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, Food Science, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in supermarket, hypermarket, fresh market, or retail operations.
• Candidates with supervisory or team leadership experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Department.
• Ensure product freshness, quality, and proper stock rotation (FIFO).
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering to maintain optimum stock availability while minimizing wastage.
• Maintain attractive product displays and merchandising in accordance with AEON standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and company SOPs.
• Monitor department sales performance and implement action plans to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Supervise, coach, and develop team members to enhance productivity and customer service.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensure proper receiving, storage, pricing, and labelling of products.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist in inventory management activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Section Head NON-HALAL Department - AEON Mall KL Midtown

The Section Head / Supervisor - Non Halal is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Non-Halal Department, ensuring excellent product quality, food safety, merchandising standards, inventory control, and customer service. The incumbent will lead the department team to achieve sales targets while maintaining high operational and hygiene standards.

Job Responsibilities:-

Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Department.

Ensure product freshness, quality, and proper stock rotation (FIFO).

Job Requirements:-

Willing to undergo On-the-Job Training (OJT) at AEON Taman Maluri before reporting to AEON Mall KL Midtown.
