Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Malaysia seeks a procurement professional to manage local direct purchases across the SEA region, optimizing costs and supplier performance. You will develop supplier agreements, qualify suppliers, and lead initiatives to add value through better procurement processes.

The role requires experience in high-volume purchasing, regional SEA exposure, and a strong compliance mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Proven experience in establishing procurement policies and procedures.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of purchases and transactions.
• Strong process orientation and commitment to compliance.
• Regional Southeast Asia experience is an advantage.
• Experience procuring services is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate information through handshake processes, PI and ALAS systems.
• Develop and update supplier agreements and procurement processes for total cost, risk, and mix.
• Execute supplier qualification procedures to ensure compliance and quality.
• Lead commercial development initiatives to drive value and innovation.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance through regular reviews and feedback.
• Track and report daily results related to quality, delivery, and cost.
