Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a proactive procurement professional to manage local purchases and oversee high transaction volumes across Southeast Asia. The role emphasizes policy development, supplier qualification, and building strong supplier partnerships to deliver value and quality.

You will monitor performance, optimize total cost, and ensure compliance, with a focus on regional experience in SEA. A bachelor’s degree in SCM or related fields is required, and 3+ years in procurement is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in establishing procurement policies and procedures.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of purchases and transactions.
• Strong process orientation and commitment to compliance.
• Regional experience, especially within Southeast Asia, is an advantage.
• Experience in procuring services is highly desirable.

• Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained throughout the handshake process, PI, and ALAS systems.
• Develop and update supplier agreements and procurement processes, optimizing for total cost, risk management, and product mix.
• Execute comprehensive supplier qualification procedures to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Lead commercial development initiatives to drive value and innovation.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support business objectives.
• Monitor and enhance supplier performance through regular reviews and feedback.
• Track and report on daily results related to the three core purchasing goals: quality, delivery, and cost.
