Job summary

Randstad Malaysia invites a proactive SAP functional consultant to drive regional support, deployment and continuous enhancement of SAP SD (OTC) and SAP GTS. The role emphasizes integration with EWM, MM and other SAP modules, guiding stakeholders through scalable, efficient solution designs and robust data governance.

The client operates on an S/4HANA environment, with ECC experience acceptable. Strong vendor coordination and end-to-end regional implementation experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of working experience in SAP SD (OTC) or SAP GTS (regional implementation, enhancement and/or support)
• At least 1 full cycle end-to-end regional implementation of SAP SD (OTC) and SAP GTS
• Exposure to SAP GTS and its integration with sales, material master and trade compliance processes
• Strong cross-functional or integration experience with 3rd party systems / SAP EWM / SAP MM / SAP MDG - material master data management / data governance / data quality / SAP Master Data Governance processes
• Functional exposure of SAP Fiori in relation to OTC / MDG / MM / EWM is an added advantage
• Minor technical capability on IDoc processing, interface monitoring and SAP data replication is an added advantage
• SAP S/4HANA experience is an added advantage (ECC welcome)
• Global/regional support/project experience is an added advantage
• Experience in medical manufacturing industry is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Execute regional support, deployment, customization & continuous enhancement of SAP SD (OTC) and SAP GTS and their integration with EWM, MM & others
• Understand and analyze business requirements related to SAP SD (OTC) and SAP GTS while improving processes and collaborating with stakeholders
• Identify key business processes and pain points of customized solutions
• Develop comprehensive solution designs considering scalability, efficiency and best practices
• Lead and collaborate with project stakeholders to facilitate seamless regional integration and support
• Conduct system testing to validate functionality and performance
• Identify and troubleshoot issues and implement optimizations to enhance system reliability
• Coordinate governance of material master data standards, policies, ownership and governance processes including data quality

about the job

• To execute regional support, deployment, customization & continous enhancement of SAP SD (OTC) and SAP GTS modules as well as its integration (alongside with appointed vendors) ;
  1. in between S/4HANA OTC and GTS application,
  2. With MS Dynamic CRM application
  3. With SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) application
  4. Wtih SAP MM, EWM and others
  5. With Business Applications of our external Business Partners such as 4th Party Logistic (4PL) and 3rd Party Logistic (3PL) partners.
• To understand and analyze business requirements related to SAP SD (OTC) and SAP GTS while continously improving business processes & collaborating with different stakeholders within regional setting.
• Identify key business processes and pain points of the customized solutions
• Address specific business needs and requirements.
• Develop comprehensive solution designs, considering factors such as scalability, efficiency, and industry best practices.
• To lead & work together with other project stakeholders to facilitate seamless regional integration and support of SAP SD (OTC) and SAP GTS.
• Conduct system testing to validate the functionality and performance of SAP SD (OTC) and SAP GTS.
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies, implementing optimizations to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Support Material Master Data Governance Lead, Data Owner and Stewards to coordinate the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of material master data standards, policies, ownership and governance processes.

about the manager/team

You will work with different stakeholders, liasing with internal Project Manager, Business Process Owner, Key Business Users, Business Analyst, other Functional & Technical Consultants / programmers as well as appointed vendors within SAP SD (OTC) & SAP GTS and its integration on a regional enhancement, support and implementation role (if any). The client already on S4 HANA environment (but open for candidates with ECC background). The client is looking for a proactive functional consultant with the extensive configuration expertise to validate & verify the vendor configuration works etc, the consultant will focus on continous enhancement of SAP SD (OTC) & SAP GTS as well as its integration with EWM, MM & others (from functionalities, business processes and system robustness or stability perspective).

about requirements:

• Someone with at least 4 years of working experience in SAP SD (OTC) or SAP GTS (mostly sought after) within regional implementation, enhancement and/or support project either in L2 or L3 is an added advantage but not compulsary.
• Someone with at least 1 full cycle end to end regional implementation of SAP SD (OTC) and SAP GTS is an added advantage but not compulsary.
• Someone with exposure to SAP GTS and its integration with sales, material master and trade compliance processes is mostly sought after but not compulsary.
• Someone with strong cross functional or integration experience with : 3rd party system / SAP EWM / SAP MM / SAP MDG - material master data management / data governance / data quality / SAP Master Data Governance processes is an added advantage but not compulsary.
• Someone with functional exposure of SAP Fiori in relation to OTC / MDG / MM / EWM is added advantage but not compulsary.
• Someone with a minor technical capability on IDoc processing, interface monitoring and SAP data replication is added advantage but not compulsary (this is still a functional role, not technofunctional)
