Job summary

Randstad Malaysia seeks an SAP PP/PS functional consultant with 5+ years of experience in SAP PP/PS across implementation or support projects. You will engage with Project Manager, Business Users, and Technical Consultants to design, configure, test (UAT) and deploy SAP solutions.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders, governance of SAP PP/PS modules, and the opportunity to work on regional/global projects. Malaysian-resident candidates preferred; visa requirements apply.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in SAP PP/PS within implementation and/or support.
• Experience with end-to-end SAP projects is an added advantage.
• Exposure to global templates and cross-functional integrations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SAP PP/PS functional consultant for project implementation, enhancement and support.
• Liaise with Project Manager, Key Business Users, Business Analysts and Technical Consultants.
• Configure SAP PP/PS modules and perform relevant UAT and go-live activities.
• Maintain governance, standards and best practices for SAP PP/PS.

about the job

• To maintain SAP PP / PS to ensure optimum performance and reliability at all time
• To take part in end-to-end SAP project (if any) eg ; business requirement gathering, understand business processes, hands-on functional configuration based on requirements (eg ; SAP table and data structure), UAT & others (BA is also welcome to apply, not just functional consultant)
• To gather requirements, design and configure of SAP PP / PS modules, and implement solutions that align with business objectives
• To maintain a good relationship with the business users lead & other related stakeholders
• To execute daily Event Management, Incident Management, Change Request when necessaryTo keep updated with latest SAP technologies, identify opportunities for improvement, recommend and implement enhancements to optimize system functionality
• To enforce governance processes, standards, and best practices for SAP PP / PS modules.

You will work with different stakeholders, liasing with Project Manager, Key Business Users, Business Analyst, Functional & other Technical Consultants for SAP PP / PS within project implementation, enhancement / support role. As a SAP PP / PS consultant, you will be responsible for support, enhancement & configuration of SAP PP / PS.

about the requirements

• Someone who has at least 5 years of experience in either SAP PP / PS within implementation project and/or support (L3) is an added but not compulsory.
• Someone with at least 3 full cycle end-to-end implementation projects on a regional or global basis is an added but not compulsary.
• Those with exposure in creating and maintaining global template is an added advantage but not compulsary
• Those with cross functional / integration exposure of either ; SAP PS / SAP PPDS is an added advantage but not compulsary
• Those with exposure in any 3rd party integration is an added advantage but not compulsory
• Someone with at leadership experience is an added advantage but not compulsory (this is individual contributor role)
• Someone from consulting firm is mostly sought after (end user is also welcome to apply)

about the salary & benefits

• Only for MALAYSIAN or those that do not require VISA to work in Msia
• up to RM 17,000 can be increased to experienced consultant who already earned more
